Celebrity Guest: Darrell Thompson’s sports credentials
speak for themselves: High School All-American in football
and basketball; 4-year starting running back from 1986-89
for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers; first-round
draft picked by the Green Bay Packers; and five-year Football
League veteran. He also serves as Gopher football game day
commentator for WCCO-AM Radio.
Today, Thompson is making is mark as Executive Director of
Boulder Options, Inc., working to help at-risk youth develop
their self-esteem and achieve positive life skills.
