Community Supported Agriculture

Now in our second year, Urban Ventures’ Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) social enterprise provides Minneapolis-area residents with delicious, healthy produce. Weekly, starting June 13 , shareholders can visit one of three convenient locations to pick up their bag of vegetables and speak with our youth farmers.

Join us by selecting the option that’s best for you and check our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for more details.

Community Supported Agriculture Shares (CSA)

A CSA share provides your family with affordable locally-grown, fresh vegetables each week for 16 weeks starting July 5. Invest in local agriculture, nutrition, and employment through CityKid Farms CSA share.

Neighborhood Harvest Shares (NHS)

Families that qualify as low income and live in the Phillips, Whittier, Powderhorn, and Central neighborhoods are eligible for shares at reduced rates. A NHS provides a bag of fresh, healthy food each week for 16 weeks, starting July 5 , at a fraction of grocery store prices.

Sponsor Food for a Family of Four

Healthy families mean healthy neighborhoods. With access to locally-grown vegetables and herbs, families have the food fuel to move from poverty to empowerment. Partner with a family in need by providing a bag of produce each week for 16 weeks starting July 5.
