How Reading Plus Makes A Difference

Reading Plus provides one-on-one tutoring for elementary students who need help the most.

Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, we focus on closing reading gaps fast and helping students believe in their ability to learn.

On average, a student makes two months of progress for each month in the program.

Students work with trained tutors in a quiet and encouraging space, either on-site at Urban Ventures or during the school day at their school.

Each session is tailored to the student’s needs, pace, and progress.
