Work with kids 0-12 years old. We have a lesson, crafts, games, time in the gym and time outside (weather permitting). No need to prepare anything, just come energized and ready to have fun. Volunteers must submit to a background check before Friday, April 29. Volunteers should be 16 years + or come with an adult.
Last year, volunteers invested over 10,800 hours of their time into Urban Ventures. That's the equivalent FIVE full-time staff members!

Ongoing volunteer opportunities
Change happens through relationships. Give transformation through serving on a regular basis.
Note: Skills-based opportunities are listed at the bottom of this page. Current volunteers can log in here.
SKILLS-BASED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Have a professional skill to share? Here are some of our critical needs.
Serve on an event planning committee, or sign up to help with day-of-event activities. Learn what goes on "behind the scenes" by finding raffle or silent auction items, setting up decorations, working the registration desk, and stuffing envelopes.
Communications volunteers work on design projects, copywriting, gathering participant stories, social media strategy, digital asset management, photography, video projects, Web updating, peer-to-peer fundraising, and more.
Volunteer instructors teach private music lessons to youth in the Urban Ventures Music Academy. Volunteers work with students to develop their musical skills and technique with guitar, keyboard, drums, and vocals.
