WORK WITH HIGH SCHOOLERS
LSW Program Support Volunteer
Lake Street Works is a 10-month vocational exploration program for high school seniors. We are looking for volunteers to come weekly to help support this program, the students & the staff.
Help with some weekly administrative program tasks - track attendance, pick up dinner, set up/clean up, greet students, classroom management, workshop safety, possibly some help with social media.
Specific Dates & Times:
Wednesdays from 4-8pm (from now until April 30th)
WORK WITH YOUTH
After School Hub Club
“Hub Club” provide support for local kids and partner schools. Students from grades K-8 come twice a week to receive literacy intervention, academic support, participate in fun elective classes and receive nutritious snacks. We are looking for volunteers who can help specifically with the tutoring time.
Specific Dates & Times:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:15-5pm (Jan 5 - June 10)
WORK WITH FOOD
Farm & Nutrition
This program provides fresh produce, along with nutrition + cooking education to families, who live in Minneapolis food deserts.
