SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES
Lunch Packing Help
Our Summer Ventures program will be going on a few field trips this year and we are looking for some volunteers to help pack lunches for them.
Dates: Wednesday, July 29
Time: 1:45 PM - 3:00 PM
Community Clean Up
We are partnering with the City of Minneapolis for their monthly East Lake Litter Clean Up event! This is perfect timing because our Summer Ventures program will have just ended and gives us a chance to beautify the neighborhood.
Date: Friday, August 14
Times: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
WORK WITH YOUTH
LSW Program Support
Lake Street Works is a 10-month vocational exploration program for high school seniors. Students get hands-on experience in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing & HVAC. We are looking for 6 volunteers to come weekly to help support this program, the students & the staff.
Days of the Week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays (August 4 - April 28)
Times: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
WORK WITH FOOD
Farm & Nutrition
Our Urban Farm program provides fresh produce, along with nutrition and cooking education to families who live in Minneapolis food deserts.
