Benevolence Fund

Responding to urgent and unexpected needs in our community.

At Urban Ventures, we believe loving our neighbors means showing up when life becomes uncertain.

The Benevolence Fund exists to help meet urgent, unexpected needs faced by individuals and families in our community. When hardship arises, this fund allows our team to respond quickly and thoughtfully with care, compassion, and dignity.

  • Support from the Benevolence Fund may include:

    • Food assistance for individuals and families experiencing disruption

    • Support that helps families remain safely housed

    • Direct family care during moments of instability or crisis

    • Other urgent needs that arise and require timely, flexible response

Because each situation is different, the Benevolence Fund is designed to be adaptable. This flexibility allows Urban Ventures to respond to real needs as they emerge, rather than forcing families into one-size-fits-all solutions.

  • Requests for benevolence support are reviewed by Urban Ventures staff who know the community and the families we serve. Decisions are guided by our mission, our values, and a commitment to steward resources wisely while responding with compassion.

The Benevolence Fund is not tied to a single program or moment. It exists so that when needs arise, Urban Ventures can act with care, clarity, and responsibility.

  • Many families experience moments when stability is disrupted by circumstances beyond their control. In those moments, timely support can make a meaningful difference.

The Benevolence Fund allows Urban Ventures to be present with families in practical ways, walking alongside them with faithfulness and love. It reflects our commitment to relationship, dignity, and long-term community well-being.

  • Your generosity makes this work possible. Gifts to the Benevolence Fund ensure that Urban Ventures can respond with compassion when urgent needs arise.

Thank you for partnering with us in loving our neighbors and strengthening our community.
