Celebrating Día del Niño

A day for our littlest learners

At Urban Ventures, we believe even the littlest members of our community deserve to be celebrated. That is why Día del Niño is one of the most joyful events we host all year.

Two Urban Ventures programs, Cornwell Early Learning Center and Me & My Baby, created a festival designed just for children ages birth to five. It is full of movement and wonder, including face painting, storybooks, Zumba, toy and book giveaways, and toddlers finally free from their strollers. Families come together to play, connect, and learn side by side.

And while the day looks like fun (and it absolutely is), every part is intentionally designed to support early brain development and positive relationships. Families connect. Kids explore. These moments may seem small, but they help build something lasting.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the creativity of our program teams, we are able to offer events like this free of charge to hundreds of families.

These kinds of experiences help young children connect the dots between school, family, and fun. Kids get to experience learning in a joyful, hands-on way.
