National Night Out 2025

What a night! Our community showed up in full force for National Night Out. Check out this quick video recap from a fantastic night together.

Last week, Urban Ventures transformed the parking lot in front of the Colin Powell Center into a place for celebration, connection, and a little bit of magic.

Families laughed together at the karaoke stage, kids lined up for the petting zoo, and friends caught up over fresh snacks while little ones bounced their way through giant inflatables.

We loved seeing our neighbors leave with more than just smiles. Many went home with backpacks full of school supplies courtesy of Timberwolves star Jaden McDaniels, fresh haircuts, and even raffle prizes like new bikes and a large-screen TV.

Local businesses and volunteers made the night possible, and our programs lined the walkway with tables to share opportunities, resources, and ways to get involved. It was a celebration of our neighborhood’s heart and strength and a reminder that we are here with and for each other.
