Urban Ventures’ big goal is to send every child in our neighborhood to college or another form of postsecondary education. The Act Six program offers students full-need, full-tuition scholarships to one of our partner colleges and universities.

This year is special, as it’s the 10th Anniversary of the program!

Over 365 students have gone to college through Act Six and the next round of students have just been selected for this year's scholarships. Will you come and celebrate with us? 

In addition to financial support, students will receive leadership development training and academic support from Urban Ventures during their college career. It is a crucial part of our cradle-to-career structure of support and a pivotal moment in the lives of these students, their families and our community.

One of our yearly highlights is sharing the news with applicants that they have emerged from hundreds, to become one of the chosen few to receive a college scholarship.
